Easter is a time for fun, family, and festive activities, and one of the most popular ways to celebrate the holiday is by dressing up in cute and colorful costumes. One simple and affordable way to do this is by making an Easter bunny headband. Whether your planning to attend an Easter parade, an Easter egg hunt, or simply want to add some holiday cheer to your day, this DIY project is perfect for kids and adults alike.
White or pink felt
Pink and black pom poms
White pipe cleaners
Hot glue gun
Start by cutting two large bunny ear shapes out of white or pink felt. Make sure the ears are large enough to be easily visible when worn on the head.
Cut two smaller bunny ear shapes out of the same felt and glue them onto the larger ears, creating a 3D effect.
Using your hot glue gun, attach the bunny ears to the headband. Place the headband on a flat surface, and apply a line of hot glue to the back of each ear. Press the ears onto the headband, and hold them in place until the glue has fully dried.
Cut two small circles out of pink felt, and glue them to the front of the headband, just above the ears. These will be the cheeks of your bunny.
Using your hot glue gun, attach a pink pom pom to the center of each cheek, creating the nose of your bunny.
Cut two pieces of white pipe cleaners, and bend them into a U shape. Attach the pipe cleaners to the headband just above the cheeks, creating the whiskers of your bunny.
Attach a black pom pom to the center of the headband, just above the nose, creating the eyes of your bunny.
